A fellow deviant and I were exchanging frustrations on art, and how were not quite pleased with it at times, because the works we create just aren't even close to what we picture and what we would like it to be...I came up with this nice encouraging rant That I thought I would share....

I know exactly how you feel. But The thing is, you still need to love it because it is in fact your creation. It may not be the picture in your mind yet, and honestly I don't know if artists every get to the point to be able to capture the images onto the page. But we do create, and loving the ability to be creative of what used to be nothing is something more....That keeps me going. Also seeing how everything I make is one step closer to being closer to what I want. The same thing goes for all other sorts of work. Writing takes lots of practice and patience, music, years of training, sports countless practices... Take heart in the fact that as long as you can enjoy the journey, enjoy each stride that you take. Learn new things, keep experimenting, just do as you feel.
WE may never truly reach our destination as artists, but as long as we all enjoy the trip, Whatever the destination is, will be glorious for the tremendous journey.

Holidays were fun this year. Robin came home, and so did Amy and the new baby Kirk along with her funny husband Sean. I did a little 3-d work by buildibng a lightsaber and a keyblade for presents, oh and a robot for my hubby. It was all crucnehd toegetrh to do gifts since I didn't have much time between when school ended wensday and a wedding I played at and then chritmas.....WE all passed around a coold which I got the sunday befor xmas and am now a week later finally starting to feel better. Also do not go to st augustine on a saturday during the holidays traffic was horrible and it was crowded. WE still had fun though., Had really good Icecream .
I will start school up again soon and for new years weree ahvinf a halo party and gettin lost of x boxes together and playing. WEEEEEeeeee

I started school today! It's so cool. For anyone who loves 3-d animation, producing, special effects etc. This is it!!!!! Friednly personal help you attitude with the work and get it style. First of all let me link you directly there.

(sorry for the adverstising rant..... hehe....give you advanced warning....)

First of all the atmosphere is nice. Friendly, like a family. Has a good positive spirit.
They have the skills and the experience for teachers. Thses guys have worked on startrek, Seaquest, and more!

They are geared to getting you with the know how and problem solving knowledge of being in the career. they are dynamic and have lots of connections and good job placement.
Plus i got a anual pass to universal studios. Totally cool First day of class and we go on the MIB ride so the owner can get our pictures taken there...It was so funny.
A room full of 34 geeks, nerds, dorks, anime lovers, gammers, etc. It is so exciting. it sounds like an intensive program but they aim to teach so you'll get it and learn all the skills you need. You get your money's worth!
Their's not too many schools out there with this sort of program. And this is the only one teaching lightwave, which does about 1/4 of all the special effects in the industry. They also teach it so that you can use whatever software you come across. i get a student discount to get the program for only 100$!!!! no where else does that.
Sure it's gonna be early. My only downner so far is that. class is from 8-1 and i have to get up at 6 to make it there on time. hour to an hour and half drive because of traffic. Still it's not so bad. i'm excited to learn all this stuff.

i am attempting a diet and have forbidden sweets...it may kill me..... Keep your fingers crossed....

Can't think of much else...one year anniversary is coming up...Thats cool. It's Nov 17th. We want to really celebrate it and go to a Disney resort or something...should be fun.

on the down side of my life, trying to get a decent school loan is totally obnoxious...11.679% annually my foot!

So I went to see kirtland on the family vacation. It was fantastic to see home again. Parents moved three years ago and I like florida, but I loved ohio. Kirtland is 1/2 east of cleveland. I grew up in mentor which is right next to kirtland. So we got to go to our churches reunion. It was the Kirtland ward's 30th anniversary. it was neat to see the Walsh's, Packers, Reynolds, Seymores, Boesch, Putnams, Taufers, etc. Alsoe the historic pioneer era sites of kirtland and the hiram farm. We also got to go to Cedar point, Americas rollercoaster park. It has more coasters than any other park. And some of the tallest in the world. Used to have THE tallest byut japan or somewhere built a biger one when they rebuilt a bigger one in cedar point. Go figger. The Preying Mantis is my fav coaster there. My husband, Chris, gets queasy easily so he didn't go on too many coasters.

The funny part was when we did the old automobiles that you can drive along a track, we had dad drive while me n chris smooched in the back. Totally fun.

i decided I suck, and need a lot more work on my art....*sigh* All well I do know i can crank out some fun stuff, but I have a long way to go befor i become what I want to be.

On my life news.... Plans are as follows Work more, move out this month, Start The dave school in fall while chris takes classes too. Then by december Chris will hopefully be A+ certified (Can fix computers) and then He'll get a job inb orlando and well move out there so I don't have to commute to my school longer than is necessary.
